What You’ll Work OnWe perform a wide variety of heavy civil construction projects throughout Minnesota and North Dakota, including:
- Large-scale earthmoving and mass excavation
- Road and highway construction
- Underground utility installation
- Site development and commercial excavation
- Flood mitigation and water management projects
- Aggregate production and material operations
- Environmental and landfill construction projects
No two projects are exactly the same, providing plenty of variety and opportunities to expand your experience.
What You’ll Do- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for private and public sector customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate project activities, maintaining open communication and addressing concerns promptly.
- Maintain project documents, complete required forms, applications and permits, including quantity tracking/verification and monthly pay applications.
- Monitor performance standards as it relates to the company’s policy and contract specifications.
- Monitor and control the project through directional guidance of on‑site supervisors to ensure a timely and on‑budget delivery.
- Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
- Represent the company in project meetings.
- Generate submittals and project‑specific plans.
- Work with supervisors and the GPS program to ensure quantity surveys for payment are accurate.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (preferred)
- Construction experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling software is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills.
