Project Manager/Estimator - Commercial Construction
Project Manager/Estimator for commercial construction projects in Fargo, ND or Minneapolis, MN. Full-time on-site position with a salary range of $110,000 to $150,000 per year plus bonus. Benefits include health insurance, 401k with match, paid time off, and a company truck.

Position Overview:
We seek a results-driven Project Manager to lead commercial and federal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to clients' quality and safety standards. Requires excellent commercial construction knowledge, strong estimating skills, and proven project management experience. Federal construction and USACE experience is a big plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple commercial and federal construction projects through all phases: preconstruction, estimating, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
- Prepare, review, and refine cost estimates, budgets, and schedules; monitor project financials and implement corrective actions to meet objectives.
- Develop and maintain project schedules (critical path), manage resources, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily reports, and as-built records using project management tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality control procedures; lead site safety meetings and enforce contractor safety programs.
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks; proactively resolve construction issues and claims to minimize schedule and cost impacts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial construction project management with demonstrated success delivering projects on time and on budget.
- Proven estimating experience with the ability to prepare and review detailed cost estimates and budgets.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract administration, scheduling, and cost control.
- Experience with construction management software (Procore, Plan Grid, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating or equivalent).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams and negotiate with clients and subcontractors.
- Experience in Federal Construction and USACE (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) project experience is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred but not required.
