Subcontracts Manager; Bison, ND

Job Description

Insight Global is is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to serve as the primary commercial liaison between the project team and subcontractors on a large industrial construction project. This role is responsible for managing subcontractor relationships, commercial risk, contract administration, cost negotiations, change orders, and overall subcontractor performance from award through project completion. The pay rate for this role ranges from $ 50 to $ 57 an hour based on the candidate's years of experience.

• 10 days onsite followed by 4 days off
• $900/week per diem
• Two trips home per month reimbursed (up to $1,100 per trip)
• Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hour

• Manage subcontractors throughout project execution, serving as the primary commercial point of contact.
• Lead subcontract administration, including change orders, cost tracking, negotiations, and contract compliance.
• Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings, prepare meeting minutes and correspondence, and drive issue resolution.
• Monitor subcontractor performance related to schedule, productivity, costs, quality, and contractual obligations.
• Partner with project leadership to identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
• Support claims, disputes, invoicing, and subcontract closeout activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors while holding them accountable for project outcomes.

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, commercial management, subcontract management, contracts, procurement, or related functions.
• Strong industrial construction background required.
• Experience managing subcontractors, negotiating costs, and making commercial decisions on construction projects.
