Dates of Coverage:
June and December (Specific Dates) Details: 24-hour call with in-house hospital rounding for 8 hours (procedures and rounding) Rounding time is flexible and dependent on the consultative service's patient load No other Gastroenterologist will be present during the locum's assignment Locum will not be supervising other healthcare providers EMR:
Epic Practice Type:
Hospital and Call Coverage Only (No Clinic) Additional Questions: ERCP Volumes:
One to two per week (key for maintaining proficiency) General/Other Procedure Volumes:
Vary, with approximately one to two scopes per day NP Support:
No NP support Locum Status:
Solo, no clinic Support Staff: RNs and CRNAs in the endoscopy room (hospital call only) Required Procedures:
Colonoscopy Biopsy Polypectomy Proctoscopy / Flexible Sigmoidoscopy Hemorrhoidal Banding Upper GI Endoscopy PEG Esophageal Variceal Banding Banding Lesions - Management of acute GI bleed Dilation Preferred Procedures: ERCP (Highly Preferred) Management of Hospitalized GI Patients

North Dakota (Active and Required, or IMLC with LOQ) DEA Certification:
Active and Required Case Logs:
