A 286-bed acute care hospital serving as the regional tertiary center for central and western North Dakota is seeking locums coverage. The facility functions as a Level II Trauma Center providing comprehensive specialized medical care including cardiovascular, behavioral health, and surgical services.

North Dakota offers diverse natural attractions including national parks, hiking trails, and wildlife viewing opportunities throughout the region. Visitors can experience scenic boat tours, guided sightseeing excursions, and adventure activities such as ziplining near major waterfalls. The area provides both organized tour options and independent exploration of outdoor landscapes and cultural sites year-round.

The gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive inpatient coverage including 24-hour call responsibilities for hospitalized GI patients. Required procedures include colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, hemorrhoidal banding, PEG placement, and management of acute GI bleeding including variceal banding and dilation. ERCP experience is highly preferred for this position. Board certification in gastroenterology and prescriptive authority are mandatory requirements.
