This facility operates as a comprehensive medical center providing advanced interventional radiology and diagnostic imaging services to a regional adult patient population. The institution maintains specialized equipment and established protocols for interventional procedures and stroke care capabilities. The facility serves as a regional referral center with dedicated radiology departments supporting both emergency and elective interventional cases.

North Dakota offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of regional attractions and recreational opportunities throughout the year. The state provides diverse outdoor recreation options suited to hiking, wildlife viewing, and scenic exploration. Clinicians may also engage with cultural destinations, community events, and year-round activities distributed across the region.

The interventional/diagnostic radiologist will provide on-site inpatient coverage with 8-hour day shifts generally scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, evening call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and 24-hour call responsibilities on weekends. The clinician will perform general interventional radiology procedures, including diagnostic vascular interventions and angiography for both venous and arterial cases, as well as therapeutic vascular interventions as needed;

stroke capabilities are preferred but not required. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and the clinician will be expected to respond to inpatient cases as they arise during all assigned coverage periods. Board certification is required for consideration.
