Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Experience working with children or in educational settings is preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
• Patience, adaptability, and a caring approach when supporting students' diverse needs
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in child development or special education is beneficial
• Ability to assist with classroom management, reinforcing lesson content, and supporting students academically and behaviorally

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities, adapting materials as needed
• Support students individually or in small groups to help them achieve their educational goals
• Foster a safe and positive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to educators
• Provide guidance and encouragement, helping students build confidence academically and socially
• Assist with classroom organization, supervision, and preparation of instructional materials
