This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and innovative Computer Science teacher—open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners—to join a school where digital literacy, problem-solving, and technological curiosity are at the heart of the curriculum.
The RoleAs a Teacher of Computer Science, you will join a dynamic and well-resourced department, delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Computer Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Teaching key topics such as programming, algorithms, data representation, and computer systems
- Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, implementing strategies to raise attainment
- Promoting high expectations of behaviour and academic achievement
- Contributing to departmental planning and wider school initiatives

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards achieving it (ECTs encouraged to apply)
- Has a degree in Computer Science or a related subject
