Our Savior’s Lutheran Church is a multigenerational congregation established in 1896 with about 45 people in worship each week and 30 students attending Sunday School. We have a strong desire to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and to share that joy with others. We believe that we are all sinners in need of God's grace and mercy and that salvation is by faith alone in Jesus Christ.

We strive to follow Christ’s example in ministering to others.

OSLC owns a 4‑bedroom, 1½ bath parsonage with attached 2‑stall garage located on the church property, utilities and maintenance included. OSLC provides a strong support system that is committed to helping our pastor succeed.

This is a pastoral call that includes preaching at all worship services and providing spiritual leadership to the congregation. The pastor should be rooted in the orthodox Christian beliefs as laid out in the LCMC Statement of Faith. The summary of key responsibilities includes:

• Preach the word of God from the Bible in a relatable and engaging way
• Administer the sacraments of Holy Communion and Baptism in accordance with LCMC teachings
• Be instrumental in our weekly youth education programs, including teaching Confirmation
• Guide our congregation in spiritual development and provide pastoral care
• Actively engage in fellowship and visit members, including those who are sick or homebound
• Believe the church’s purpose and values are grounded in the Bible

• LCMC certified
• Master of Divinity preferred

Larimore, North Dakota is a welcoming community of about 1,200 people located in Grand Forks County. With a strong agricultural heritage, Larimore offers a safe, family‑friendly environment that has seen a stable population over the last several years. Recent community investments include a new elementary school gymnasium, outdoor pickleball courts and improvements to the museum grounds. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the Larimore Dam Recreation Area, a local favorite for fishing, frisbee golf and camping as well as nearby Larimore Golf Club, offering a scenic 9‑hole course.

Turtle River State Park (6 miles away) provides year‑round outdoor recreation from hiking and camping in the summer to cross‑country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.

Less than a 30‑minute drive to Grand Forks, a city of 60,000 people and home of the University of North Dakota (enrollment of 15,000+) allows people to take advantage of a myriad of cultural and sporting events. Our close proximity to Grand Forks and the Grand Forks Air Force Base (10 miles away) provide a vast array of shopping, entertainment and additional employment opportunities in easy commuting distance while enjoying the comfort and community of small‑town living.
