Secondary Science Teacher
Milnor Public School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Science Teacher for the school year. Position highlights include full-time secondary science (grades 7-12; specific courses based on candidate strengths and scheduling needs), a supportive small-school environment with strong student relationships, opportunities for leadership, coaching, and extracurricular involvement, a collaborative staff culture focused on continuous improvement, integration of technology and data-informed instruction to support student growth, and active participation in MTSS through our BARR (Building Assets, Reducing Risks) framework.
Compensation and benefits include a base salary starting at $41,500 (DOE), district pays both sides of TFFR, district pays single health insurance, and a competitive total compensation package ($65,000+ total package).
Qualifications include a North Dakota teaching license (or ability to obtain), strong communication and classroom management skills, ability to build positive relationships with students, and willingness to collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement. Experience (or interest) in using assessment data (e.g., Fastbridge, NDSA) to inform instruction is also required.
