The NDT Level II Technician

Responsible for performing nondestructive testing inspections to evaluate the quality and integrity of materials, components, and systems in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements. The role involves setting up and calibrating NDT equipment, conducting inspections, interpreting results, and producing accurate inspection reports while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations. This is a full‑time position supporting Acuren’s operations in Beulah, North Dakota.

The NDT Level II Technician supports Acuren’s asset integrity and inspection services by carrying out a range of nondestructive examinations. The technician applies established inspection techniques, guides examination processes, evaluates test results, and may assist with training or supervising other personnel. Experience with isometric drawings and P&IDs is considered a significant advantage.

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using approved NDT methods
• Establish appropriate examination techniques while ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications, codes, and standards
• Evaluate inspection results and determine acceptance or rejection
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators
• Organize, document, and report inspection results accurately
• Perform specialized inspections as required
• Instruct and supervise other personnel when applicable
• Perform additional job‑related tasks as assigned by management

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college education preferred
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to perform assigned NDT tasks and accurately interpret inspection results
• Working knowledge of NDT equipment
• Experience in inspection report writing
