The role is based in the Kyiv region, and we will expect you to work full-time in the office. We have a shuttle service from the nearest metro station.

About the Job

We are seeking a talented System Engineer Navigation to join our team and drive the next generation of UAV navigation systems. In this role, you will work at the intersection of hardware and software, contributing to the integration of advanced sensors, the development of navigation algorithms, and the continuous improvement of flight control performance. What is your Day to Day Mission:
  • Coordinate between customer support and R&D, focus on feature requests and facilitating bug reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and evaluate preliminary data for hardware updates

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Contribute to design reviews and system documentation

  • Analysis and integration of new Sensors with a focus on flight control-related sensors such as IMU, GNSS, Magnetometers and pressure sensors

  • Devise integration and sanity checking concepts

  • Develop, implement and test algorithms for navigation and control systems in line with project requirements

  • Simulation and analysis to verify GNC models and system performance under different operating conditions

  • Improve performance through novel sensor calibration approaches

What you bring to the team:
  • BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace engineering or related

  • Hands-on experience with low-level protocols, including UART, Ethernet and I2C

  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • Proficient in programming with a strong ability to adapt and learn new languages and technologies

As a plus:
  • Practical experience developing GNC designs for flight systems

  • Experience in writing code in C/C++ or Rust

  • Experience with Matlab and Simulink
