Surveyor / Field Engineer
We are seeking a proficient Surveyor / Field Engineer to establish and maintain our primary control network on site using a Total Station. This role involves conducting setting out and site inspections with the Atom (Augmented Reality headset) to ensure works are installed correctly as per the BIM Model, producing reports and deliverables based on daily inspections, attending coordination meetings with contractors, and processing acquired data for accuracy and reliability.
The position also includes devising weekly lookahead inspections with the contractor in line with the construction programme to mitigate incorrect installation risks and preparing the latest approved Revit models for export into Holo Site.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the primary control network on site using a Total Station.
- Conduct setting out and site inspections with the Atom (Augmented Reality headset) to ensure correct installation.
- Produce reports and deliverables based on daily inspections.
- Attend meetings to coordinate with contractors for daily planning.
- Process and review acquired data for accuracy and reliability.
- Work with the contractor to devise a weekly lookahead of inspections to prevent incorrect installations.
- Prepare and export the latest approved Revit models into Holo Site.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of surveying or construction experience.
- Ability to independently operate a total station (Leica, Trimble, Topcon).
- Surveying qualification related to land surveying, geodetic, geospatial, or geomatics.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office - Word & Excel.
- Full driving license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge and working experience with Revit / BIM.
- Prior construction experience, particularly in construction staking.
Work Environment
The role offers full training on site in London or Florida, with the opportunity to relocate elsewhere in the US after approximately one year. Alternatively, you can continue working in Omaha as new projects are anticipated. The position includes healthcare covering medical, dental, and vision, 25 days of annual vacation/PTO plus public holidays. Relocation support, including flights and accommodation, may be provided if necessary.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ellendale, ND.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $115000.00/yr. 15 days of PTO with 7 holidays as well.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Ellendale, ND.
