Pinnacle Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Field Technician to join our growing team to undertake a challenging and fast-paced full-time position. The Field Technician I will work on assignments involving field activities, data collection, and problem solving. The job responsibilities include working as an individual or as part of a team to assist with any of the following tasks:

• emergency response assistance working with hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• assistance with the collection of air, groundwater and soil environmental samples
• machine operation of various equipment
• driving and hauling heavy equipment
• Installation, maintenance, and operation of remedial systems.
• Construction, Demolition, Excavation, and Industrial Cleaning field services
• Other duties as assigned.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with internal project teams and clients.
• Strong technical writing skills, including an attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Education and Experience

Qualifications:

• High School diploma. College degree or post-secondary education in an environmental science based curriculum preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience directly related to job responsibilities outlined above
• Experience in a safety and environmental field
• Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations
• Experience working in an engineering, industrial or construction workplace, preferred
• Demonstrated familiarity working with spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Ability to utilize basic computer programs such as Office, Word and Excel.
• Valid Commercial driver’s license and driving record
• Ability to obtain a DOT health card and potentially a commercial driver’s license.
