COMPENSATION $80-86 per hour

Working approximately 12 hours per day while on rotation POSITION OVERVIEW – Well Site Manager IIThe Well Site Manager directs all day-to-day operations on location, serving as the company's sole representative on the well site — the person rig contractors and third-party crews answer to when decisions need to be made in real time. This role owns safety and regulatory compliance on site, oversees completion and workover operations against company standards and best oilfield practices, and provides engineering support across completion design, fracture treatment planning, and production optimization.
This is a hands-on, field-based role — the expectation is roughly 10,000 steps per day on location, actively interacting with crews and maintaining safe operations, with safety as the top priority always. Success in this role depends on hands-on well site leadership experience, not just general field exposure — this is the person accountable for keeping operations safe, compliant, and on track when things get complicated in the field.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Serve as the company representative on the well site, responsible for all personnel on site
• Assist in the engineering design of all completion programs and the fracture treatment of all new drilling wells; prepare completion, testing, and workover procedures
• Ensure workover and completion operations are carried out with best oilfield practices and in accordance with program and all relevant Company standards
• Provide detailed, timely reports to engineers via various software programs, including Well View
• Prepare written engineering well workover briefs for wellsite supervisors
• Monitor all AFEs for well work, run economic backup and justification calculations for AFE submittals, and monitor expenditures against AFE amounts
• Review well production daily to ensure wells are optimized for productivity
• Provide support to the engineering team on a variety of subjects, including completion designs, workover and fishing jobs, and production facility modifications
• Maintain a highly visible, hands-on presence on location — actively engaging with crews throughout the day to ensure safe, compliant operations REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree in an engineering discipline preferred; strong hands-on completions/workover experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• 10+ years of inspection/operations experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with proven time specifically as a well site leader or company man — general field experience alone is not sufficient
• Current well control certificate required (IADC)
• Significant exposure to additional areas of completion operations, including wireline, fishing, pressure pumping, TCP, and pump-down operations
• Demonstrated leader with excellent management, supervisory, and communication skills
• Proficiency reporting with a variety of systems, including Well View
• Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA Health & Safety regulations
• Working knowledge of area/regional regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong leadership, supervisory judgment, and clear communication skills, given this role serves as the company's sole representative on site with rig contractors and third parties
• Drill out experience preferred
• HCU (snubbing) experience preferred
• Workover experience preferred
• Frac and completions experience preferred
