Job Summary

A Teller is a customer‑service facing position responsible for quickly and accurately processing customers' transactions while maintaining a positive and professional image.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with accurate processing of transactions while providing quality customer service.
  • Process commercial and personal deposits, wire transfers, loan payments, credit card payments/cash advances, savings bonds, cashier’s checks, check orders, telephone transfer requests, and Tax & Treasury deposits.
  • Maintain accuracy in handling, maintaining, and monitoring the cash drawer.
  • Cross‑sell all bank products and services.
  • Know and follow current banking policies and regulations relating to deposits and withdrawals.
  • Monitor and verify internal control processes and procedures for Teller operations.
  • Open and follow safe deposit box procedures.
  • Resolve customer issues.
  • Perform branch capture duties.
  • Perform address changes and CIF maintenance.
  • Promote the organization in the community through civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities across all Bravera Bank entities.
  • Adhere to all banking rules and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act; proactively prevent illegal activities, monitor for fraud, and report suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    High‑School Diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of post‑secondary education preferred.
  • Experience:

    Less than one year of banking or customer service experience.
  • Ability to be an independent thinker.
