The Member Service Representative is a full-time, on-site role located in Kulm, ND. This position is responsible for assisting members with everyday financial transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account inquiries, while ensuring accurate and efficient service. The role includes explaining credit union products and services, opening and maintaining accounts, and supporting members in understanding basic financial options. The Member Service Representative will handle phone and in-person inquiries, resolve member concerns, and maintain detailed records in computer systems.
This role also contributes to a positive branch environment by following established policies, safeguarding member information, and supporting team members as needed.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with members and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess solid Phone Etiquette and interpersonal skills to manage calls and in-branch inquiries professionally.
- Candidates should possess good Computer Literacy skills to use banking software, maintain accurate records, and process transactions.
- Candidates should possess basic Finance understanding to assist members with accounts, loans, and savings products.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include attention to detail, reliability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a confidential, regulated environment.
- Prior experience in banking, credit union, or customer-facing financial services is preferred but not required; a high school diploma or equivalent is typically expected.
