Our client is a well‑established, community‑focused financial institution seeking an experienced Agricultural Lender to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship‑driven agricultural banker who enjoys working directly with producers, building long‑term partnerships, and helping local farming operations succeed.

This individual will inherit and grow an agricultural portfolio while developing new business throughout the market. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of agricultural lending, credit analysis, and farm financials, along with a passion for serving the local agricultural community.

• Develop, manage, and grow an agricultural loan portfolio through new business development and relationship management.
• Meet with producers on‑site to understand their operations and provide customized lending solutions.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and collateral to structure sound credit decisions.
• Prepare and present loan packages while partnering with the credit team throughout the approval process.
• Monitor portfolio performance and maintain strong credit quality.
• Cross‑sell treasury management, deposit, and other banking products to deepen client relationships.
• Represent the bank within the agricultural community by attending industry events and building referral networks.
• Maintain a high level of customer service while becoming a trusted financial advisor to local producers.

• 7+ years of agricultural lending or agribusiness banking experience.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural credit underwriting and financial analysis.
• Experience managing and growing an agricultural loan portfolio.
• Proven business development and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
