Position: Dispatcher (Public Safety)
Location: Fort Totten

USA Government Jobs -  - Responsibilities:
Operate a multi-frequency and multi-agency radio console with paging systems, cross-frequency patching, and phone patching;
Coordinate, monitor, and assist with operations via telephone and radio between a variety of agencies and personnel;
Record and maintain all radio transmissions and significant telephone situations;
Determine priority of response and initiate appropriate response of law enforcement;
Gather all pertinent information for the call to determine whether it requires dispatching a vehicle, vessel or aircraft
