Location: Michigan
Position Summary:
Maintains cleanliness of hospital facilities following hospital, departmental, and regulatory agency requirements. Responsible for providing a safe, sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
* Cleans and restocks all assigned areas according to departmental standard and guidleines.
* Disposes of trash, biomedical and solid waste materials to appropriate disposal areas.
* Prepares patient rooms for occupancy after patients are discharged.
* Replaces supplies as needed.
* Alerts supervisor of potential problems and safety hazards.
* Performs other related duties as required and directed.
Qualifications
Preferred:
* Six (6) months housekeeping or maintenance experience.
* High school diploma or GED
