Occupational Health Technician (Paramedic – Full-Time Night Shift)

Monday–Friday 1900–0700
Provided on-site occupational medical support at an active construction project, delivering injury prevention, triage, and health services to maintain a safe, compliant, and high-performing workforce environment.
Key Responsibilities & Contributions:
- Delivered on-site triage and treatment for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses using evidence-based medical protocols
- Provided follow-up care and coordinated with local healthcare providers to ensure appropriate case management
- Supported workers’ compensation processes and partnered with risk management teams to reduce lost-time incidents
- Documented all patient encounters accurately using EMR systems while maintaining regulatory compliance
- Maintained clinic readiness, including medical supply inventory and infection control standards
- Collaborated daily with site safety leadership to identify job-site health risks and implement preventive strategies
- Led daily “Stretch and Flex” safety sessions to promote injury prevention and workforce wellness
- Conducted new hire medical screenings, drug testing, and occupational health compliance testing
- Participated in weekly case reviews and project safety meetings to align medical support with site objectives
- Delivered exceptional customer service while building trust with craft workers, supervisors, and project leadership
Environment & Scope:
- Worked in a high-demand construction setting with exposure to varying weather, industrial hazards, and physically intensive scenarios
- Performed frequent lifting (50+ lbs), prolonged standing/walking, and emergency response interventions as needed
- Operated in a proactive medical model focused on injury prevention rather than emergency response alone
Certifications & Qualifications:
- Licensed Paramedic (State & NREMT compliant)
- ACLS Certified
- OSHA-30 Certified
- 3+ years of emergency medical experience with strong adaptability to occupational health environments
