We are hiring for new and existing opportunities in our department.

Current openings -
  • Activity Aide (Part-Time, 24–30 hrs./week)

  • Helper/Feeder Aide (Less than Part-Time/up to Part-Time)

About the Roles

These positions support resident engagement, assist with meals and activity transitions, participate in and may lead activities, and overall support and care for our residents. Ideal candidates enjoy working with older adults, adapting activities to varying abilities, and helping create meaningful daily experiences for residents.

The Activity Aide position is 8-hour shifts 3-4x/week. This position may have the potential to grow into an FT position for the right candidate.

The Helper/Feeder Aide position is 2-4-hour shifts, primarily in the evening. This position is ideal for someone looking for a minimal weekly time commitment.

Both shifts will alternate every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

Resident Engagement & Activities

  • Provide 1:1 visits, small-group activities, resident engagement.
  • Lead or assist with scheduled activities, including supplemental or modified options based on resident needs.
  • Facilitate Assisted Living activities
  • Support evening activities and offer individualized engagement for residents who do not participate in group programs.
  • Complete documentation of resident participation and evening interactions.
  • Support residents during meal times.
Qualifications
  • Being teamwork minded, reliable, and respectful is a must.
  • Being flexible and able to work different shift times (days, afternoons, and early evenings) is preferred.
  • Experience working with older adults preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, push, or assist residents safely during transport.
