** provide an array of mental health and behavioral interventions to children, adolescents and their families who need additional help or support. Services may be short‑term or long‑term depending on the needs of the child and family.

The Mental Health Care Provider delivers clinical behavioral health services in the following life domains: health, education, employment, social/family, cultural, recreation, spirituality/religion, and housing. Services are client‑centered, trauma‑informed, and aligned with the clinician and recovery models to support client progress toward established goals. Services are available to individuals of all ages in virtual, office or community settings and include but are not limited to sleep hygiene, mindfulness, emotional regulation, psychoeducation, referrals to community resources, cognitive coping, behavioral activation and coordination of care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide episodic, trauma‑informed, person‑centered counseling utilizing evidence‑based practices within scope of practice.
  • Maintain client records and all required documentation in a timely and confidential manner in accordance with agency policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments, develop and implement safety plans, and provide crisis intervention and stabilization services, including facilitating access to inpatient facilities as needed.
  • Facilitate and co‑facilitate client treatment groups.
  • Represent the agency and its services to the community in a positive and professional manner.
  • Participate in required staff meetings, including regular supervision and weekly clinical staff meetings.
  • Participate in any required training, consultation calls, onsite visits or reviews as required by contract.
  • Accept delegation and follow through with specific expanded assignments and responsibilities within FBH, such as quality improvement teams, task groups, committees, consultations, mentoring or training responsibilities.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with clinical, administrative and support staff, community partners, clients, and family/natural supports.
  • Include the client’s support network and involved community partners in care coordination.
  • Serve as part of the care team and meet productivity standards in accordance with agency program guidelines.
  • Develop and implement care plans with measurable objectives and goals, evaluating client progress and adjusting as needed.
  • Collaborate with master‑level clinicians, peer support specialists, prescribers, care navigators, or other team members for additional treatment needs identified on the care plan.
