Salary Range: $22.81 To $28.51 Hourly
SCOPE OF WORK:
The Adolescent Addiction Counselor provides clinical oversight and direct counseling services for adolescents experiencing alcohol and substance use disorders. This position oversees daily youth program operations, delivers culturally responsive treatment services, ensures compliance with Tribal and Indian Health Service (IHS) standards, and collaborates with tribal programs, schools, courts, and community agencies to support youth and families.
This role is ideal for a compassionate, ethical, and motivated professional dedicated to strengthening youth recovery and community wellness.
KEY
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily operations and clinical coordination of the Youth Treatment Program
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling services
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
- Collaborate with Tribal departments, courts, schools, and external agencies
- Prepare reports and ensure compliance with IHS, Tribal, and Federal regulations
- Develop and support prevention and community education initiatives
- Provide court documentation and testimony when required
- Coordinate aftercare planning and client follow-up
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related Behavioral Health field or specific training in adolescent addiction counseling with Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC).
