SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES

• The Room Attendant is responsible for the total and thorough cleaning of Lodge guest rooms, hallways, stair wells and storage rooms.
• This could include bed making, cleaning windows, washing walls, light fixtures, dusting furniture, vacuuming, bathrooms, stocking linen, folding sheets, and towels, throughout a daily shift.
• Responsible for returning cleaning equipment to storage areas at end of project or shift.
• Responsible for projects as assigned by Supervisor, which may include helping in other areas or on other shifts when needed.
• Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately
• Other duties as assigned.

PREREQUISITES

General:
Must be age 18 or older. Must qualify for a Tribal Non-Gaming license.

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Must be able to communicate in the primary language of the workplace.

Experience:

None required.

Physical:
Requires stamina for constant movement of walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, repetitive motions, pushing heavy cleaning equipment; must have the ability to lift 40 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally. Must possess hand and finger dexterity for using tools and equipment.
