Benchmarking, Grading & Skills Audit Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Salary Benchmarking, Job Grading and Skills Audit Specialist/Consultant to provide professional support for a project involving job benchmarking, job evaluation and grading, salary benchmarking, pay-scale design, organisational skills auditing, competency assessment and employee placement .

The successful candidate/service provider will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a structured methodology that aligns employee roles, skills, competencies and remuneration with organisational requirements.

• Conduct job benchmarking and job evaluation across various organisational levels.
• Apply the Paterson Job Grading System to evaluate and grade positions.
• Conduct an organisational skills audit and assess employees against job requirements.
• Develop appropriate skills and competency metrics across all organisational levels.
• Conduct salary benchmarking using credible and current South African market data.
• Support the development and review of salary structures and pay scales .
• Develop an objective employee placement methodology and process .
• Identify skills, competency and remuneration gaps and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Conduct research and benchmarking against relevant public-sector, corporate and Schedule 3A entities .
• Develop a clear project methodology covering salary benchmarking, job grading, skills audits, placement and implementation.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultation and engagement throughout the project.
• Develop and implement effective stakeholder communication and change management processes.
• Maintain appropriate quality assurance measures throughout the assignment.
• Prepare professional reports, findings, recommendations and project deliverables.
• Work closely with management and relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on job evaluation, remuneration, skills and organisational development matters.

• National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Organisational Development , or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in:
• Salary benchmarking
• Pay-scale design
• Skills audits
• Employee placement
• Experience in a corporate organisation, public sector, state-owned entity or organ of state.
• Valid professional registration with SARA, SABPP, IPM or HPCSA .
• Must provide a CV and supporting documents .
• Certified  qualification snot older than 6 months .
