We are seeking a versatile and analytical professional who will start by supporting and maintaining our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes and operational systems, and will transition after ~16 months into a Business Analyst supporting transformation projects.

In the initial phase, this role focuses on recurring EDI tasks, monitoring and resolving integration issues, and performing root‑cause analysis. As our systems evolve, the role shifts into a Business Analyst position working closely with Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and other operational groups on initiatives such as QMS implementation, CRM, IoT integration, M&A onboarding, and process optimization.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new systems, and acting as a bridge between business users and technical teams.

Responsibilities: EDI Support Analysis
  • Support daily and scheduled EDI activities, including data flow monitoring and exception handling until we modernize our current EDI process
  • Troubleshoot EDI and integration issues; identify underlying problems and implement corrective actions
  • Perform root‑cause analyses to reduce recurring system EDI issues
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis
  • Continue providing EDI support in a lesser capacity as we modernize our EDI process
  • Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements for system improvements and cross‑functional projects
  • Serve as the liaison between business teams and technical teams, ensuring clarity of requirements and expectations
  • Quality Management System (QMS) implementation
  • IoT integrations and automation
  • M&A systems and data integration
  • Cross‑departmental process optimization
  • Create and maintain process maps, documentation, and user guides
  • Assist with testing cycles (SIT/UAT), change management activities, and training as new systems or enhancements are deployed
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and other departments to understand operational needs and pain points
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in system support, business analysis, or a related technical‑functional role
  • Working knowledge of SQL (creating queries, analyzing data, understanding table relationships)
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot system issues and identify patterns
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into business‑friendly language
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for system changes or enhancements
  • Strong understanding of system configuration concepts and how applications interact (coding not required
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with EDI standards, mapping, or troubleshooting

  • Boomi experience | knowledge
  • Exposure to ERP and WMS|MES systems
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or food processing environments
  • Familiarity with IoT, data integrations, workflow tools, or automation
  • Experience with process mapping methodologies or tools
