As a TMS application engineer at DSV you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our daily transport operations in the Netherlands and Belgium. You ensure our systems run smoothly, processes are optimised, and users receive the best possible support.

As a TMS application engineer you play a key role in the management and further development of our Transport Management System (SCE). Your analytical mindset and accurate way of working keep our transport processes efficient, stable and future‑proof.

You are the key link between IT, operations and our transport partners. You are responsible for the functional management, maintenance and further optimisation of our TMS/SCE, which supports our daily transport operations across the Netherlands and Belgium. You analyse and resolve incidents, process change requests and carry out functional configurations and testing so that the system remains reliable and aligned with operational needs.

• Managing and handling incidents, changes and service requests via Service Now;
• Analysing and resolving TMS‑ and SCE‑related issues and user queries;
• Carrying out functional configurations, testing and implementing system changes;
• Translating operational requirements into smart and practical system solutions;
• Monitoring system performance, data quality and transport process stability;
• Contributing to optimisation, standardisation and continuous improvement within the TMS landscape.

• Experience with or a strong affinity for Transport Management Systems (TMS); experience with SCE is an advantage;
• Experience in application management and/or functional management within a logistics environment;
• Experience with Service Now or a similar ticketing or ITSM system;
• An analytical mindset and a structured, accurate way of working;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with IT, users and operations;
• A good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
