Job Description:
Senior Technical Analyst - Ansible / Linux (Enterprise Infrastructure)
Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to support enterprise infrastructure initiatives with a focus on automation, patch management, and server administration. This individual will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing large-scale environments across both Linux and Windows platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible for infrastructure and security patching
* Administer and support Red Hat Linux environments, including patching, upgrades, and performance optimization
* Provide advanced technical support across enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, and network components
* Troubleshoot complex system issues and lead resolution efforts across infrastructure environments
* Collaborate with internal teams to plan, prioritize, and execute infrastructure projects and upgrades
* Support data centre operations, including hardware lifecycle, installations, and maintenance
Required Qualifications
* 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure/support environments
* 5-8+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible automation (enterprise scale)
* 5-8+ years of experience managing Red Hat Linux server environments
* Strong experience with infrastructure patching, automation, and system administration
* Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
Nice-to-Have
* Experience working in Microsoft-heavy environments (Windows Server, Active Directory)
* Exposure to enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure
* Experience mentoring junior technical staff

Flexible / hybrid (candidate must be local and available for occasional on-site work)

Standard business hours with occasional after-hours support as needed
