Operator RoleThe Operator position is responsible for the day‑to‑day safe & customer‑service‑oriented operations of waste treatment, oil treatment, and water injection. The Operator will maintain constant contact with customers and thus must demonstrate excellent communication skills and a high level of customer service. The Operator must be personally motivated to learn the basic plant processes. As this is a safety‑sensitive role, the Operator must be mentally and physically fit to perform the tasks and responsibilities of this role.
Team& Work Environment
The Stanley Facility is fast‑paced and exciting, providing an opportunity to learn and grow. It offers a 7 on 7 off shift of 12 hours, rotating between days and nights at our Stanley Water Disposal Facility.
Day in the Life- Plant safety: ensuring that each operation follows SOPs and safety work procedures, SWP permitting, hazard assessments, and iTrak items are entered in a timely manner.
- Responsible for truck unloading, oil emulsion, and water & vacuum trucks (paper trail).
- Managing ongoing water injection, filter changing, and pump maintenance.
- Conducting boiler operations, testing, and steam system operations.
- Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly plant checks.
- Performing general cleaning duties throughout the day.
- A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent.
- A valid and acceptable Driver’s license and successful completion of pre‑employment testing.
- Valid and current safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHMIS and TDG.
- A strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a profound ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment.
- Proven ability to work well under frequent supervision.
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
