Computer Technician

• Monitor conveyor systems and equipment through computer-based monitoring systems.
• Watch for alarms, faults, stoppages, and other issues occurring throughout the conveyor system.
• Communicate conveyor issues and system conditions to coworkers in a clear and timely manner.
• Monitor the flow of product and identify potential problems before they become larger issues.
• Track and report recurring conveyor issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting conveyor problems by providing information from the computer monitoring system.
• Maintain awareness of system status and changing conditions throughout the shift.
• Follow established procedures for responding to conveyor alarms and equipment issues.
• Document issues, downtime, and other important system information as required.
• Perform other duties related to conveyor monitoring and operations as needed.

• Computer experience and comfort working with computer-based systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused for extended periods.
• Ability to recognize problems and respond quickly.
• Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers, maintenance personnel, and supervisors.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize issues.
• Mechanical aptitude or experience with industrial equipment is a plus.
• Previous conveyor, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable and able to work independently.
• Willingness to learn JOB Erection's conveyor monitoring and control systems.
