Community Manager
Location:
Linton Apartments – Linton, IN 47441
Job Type: Part Time – 20 hours a week
Wallick Communities is a 100% employee‑owned company with more than 55 years of experience providing affordable housing and assisted living to families and seniors. As a Community Manager, you will lead a team, manage finances, and ensure residents receive exceptional service.

- Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals to provide a great resident experience
- Process community staff payroll
- Collect all rent and deposit funds into the community account
- Process community invoices for payment
- Purchase and maintain sufficient supplies for the community
- Maintain occupancy rates of at least 98%
- Maintain positive relationships with community owners and residents
- Review and approve rental applications
- Complete move‑out paperwork per governing regulations
- Perform unit move‑out, annual, and housekeeping inspections
- Audit resident files to ensure completeness before supervisor review
- Complete required reports for government agencies, administrators, or the company
- Maintain the community to company standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- 1+ year experience as a residential property manager, or 3+ years in a general manager or similar role with strong people leadership and process management experience; HUD/Section 8 experience a plus
- High school diploma, associate’s degree a plus; COS, LIHTC, HCCP, AHM training an advantage
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Commitment to excellent resident service
- Deadline‑driven, detail oriented, compliant, and quality focused
- Computer skilled with fluency in Microsoft Office;
Yardi experience a plus
