* Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Operates packaging equipment according to product specifications and ensuring accuracy in weights and codes. Adjusts machines as required
* Maintains proper documentation of downtime and repairs. Performs minor repairs and routine maintenance work on equipment
* Continually checks the quality of the product, packaging, and case printing according to standard operating procedures and policies. Responsible for reporting any issues or concerns to Packaging Supervisor, as needed
* Inspects and conducts regular deep cleaning of equipment after each product change.
* Maintains cleanliness of equipment at all times
* Operates in accordance with health, safety and fire prevention regulations and practices, and standard operating procedures
* Partner with company leadership to proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of: safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation
* Other duties, as assigned
** Education and Experience Required****:
*** Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
** Preferred Education, Experience, and

Skills:

*** High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
* Previous experience operating machines
* Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility

* Must be able to kneel, sit, reach above shoulders, and climb/work off ladder for 3+ hours per shift
* Must be able to operate foot pedals for 3+ hours per shift
* Must be able to make fine distinctions in sound, distinguish objects and equipment visually, and express or exchange ideas by spoken or written word locations:
