Job Description

Position Summary:

The Press Utilityisa  valuable roleforany food manufacturing business. Our Press Utilities  perform essential work performing inspections and general sanitation of the pasta production areato ensure safe and edible product is produced consistent with food safety standards. This role performs strenuous workassistingproduction personnel with sanitation issues during start-ups, shutdowns, and routine production operations.

• Performs in-depth cleaning of production lines according to Master Sanitation Schedule. Monitors any wear on equipment for factors that could affect production, and communicates equipment wear per standard operating procedures

• Communicates equipment conditions causing sanitation issues that require attention during a periodic maintenance cycle event

• Maintain slogs for food safety audit purposes. Participate in department food safety and safety audits

• Assist team members with sanitation efforts on unassigned machines, and maintain, and clean other areas, as needed

• Other duties, as assigned

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution

• Previous manufacturing experience

• Previousexperienceoperatinga forklift or reach truck

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred
