Job Summary
A Facility CDL Operator for KT Enterprises will work a 12‑hour shift, rotating 14 days on and 7 days off, with changing days and nights each 14‑day period. The operator reports to the lead operator at the processing facility, assists trucks with offload procedures, performs routine maintenance and repairs, operates processing equipment, and conducts fluid transfers and slurry parameter testing.
Duties & Responsibilities- Operate plant equipment safely while performing processes directed by the Lead Facility Operator.
- Unloading trucks and conducting tanker washouts of supervacs & vac trucks.
- Supporting Lead Facility Operator in daily pressure pumping operations.
- Inspect, monitor, and maintain plant equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform general cleaning duties daily.
- Be willing and able to learn plant processes and associated paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with others.
- Understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Accommodate a flexible, long‑work‑day schedule, be on‑call with short notice, and work under extreme weather conditions.
- Possess sound organization and time‑management skills.
- Maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
- CDL Class A or B License is required.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent education.
- 1+ year(s) of oilfield‑related experience.
- Knowledge of oilfield practices and procedures is a plus.
- Motor vehicle record meeting fleet insurance requirements is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and general safety reporting and JSA’s is preferred.
The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time, unassisted. The incumbent must wear a respirator when required.
Manual and finger dexterity and hand‑eye coordination sufficient to operate industrial machinery are required. This job also requires full range of body motion to include handling and lifting. The incumbent must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 65 pounds unassisted. Visual acuity, hearing, speaking, reading, and writing must be adequate to perform all required tasks safely.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Work is usually done outdoors and sometimes at a client facility or job site and is frequently performed in inclement and/or extreme weather conditions. The incumbent is exposed to moving electricity, mechanical parts, vehicles, equipment, and hazardous materials. This position regularly requires long work hours and frequent weekend work.
