Manpower - - Responsibilities:
Perform carbon arc gouging to remove cracks and damaged metal on heavy mining equipment;
Prepare surfaces for welding by grinding and cleaning materials;
Weld structural repairs on draglines, shovels, and other large mining machinery;
Finish welds by grinding and polishing to meet quality standards;
Follow detailed repair instructions and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
