Christian Fellowship Church of Cando, North Dakota is a non‑denominational church in a small farming community. Our growing congregation averages about 90 people on Sunday mornings. We believe God has been guiding us to serve not only our church but the surrounding community.
Job Description & Responsibilities Be a Creative TrailblazerWe value someone eager to establish new practices and strategies for reaching youth in our church and community. You will prayerfully seek God’s vision for ministry, creating and leading biblical youth programming, including Bible studies, worship, small groups, intimacy with God, and ministry opportunities.
Have a Community‑Wide Vision, Not Just Focused on CFCYou should help the youth in our congregation develop their faith while also reaching youth from other local communities, spreading God’s love to all.
Be a TeammateAs a youth pastor, you will work closely with CFC staff and members. Teamwork is essential; meeting with the pastor and staff regularly is part of the job.
Desire to GrowWhile this position focuses on youth ministry, opportunities exist in other ministry areas. We hope you will flourish with us.
Qualifications Clear Calling from GodWe seek a candidate who senses a clear call from God for youth ministry and can share how that calling has been confirmed in their life.
The Heart MattersGod values character and integrity. We want someone who strives to be like God and demonstrates that to the youth.
1st Timers or Experienced Youth Pastors Will Be ConsideredCFC welcomes candidates with no prior vocational ministry experience as well as seasoned youth pastors. Experience working with young people through camps, Sunday school, or other Christian youth activities is a priority.
Be RelationalOur ministry is relationship‑based. The youth pastor must love youth, their families, the entire church, and most of all, Jesus.
AgreementAll applicants must agree with Christian Fellowship Church’s statement of faith.
CompensationFull‑time position. Salary negotiable. We can assist with suitable housing.
