Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Registered Nurse role located in Bowman, ND. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient and resident care, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include developing and updating care plans, monitoring changes in condition, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and communicating clearly with patients, residents, and families.

The RN will supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other care staff, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care in both long‑term and basic care settings. Additional duties include maintaining infection control practices, participating in quality improvement efforts, and responding to emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.

Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Dakota (or eligibility for ND licensure).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and additional certifications (e.g., geriatric or long‑term care) are a plus.
  • Experience in hospital, long‑term care, or basic care settings preferred, with strong skills in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical decision‑making.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and work effectively with a multidisciplinary care team, including LPNs and CNAs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to educate patients, residents, and families in an understandable and respectful manner.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and respond appropriately in urgent and emergent situations.
  • Comfort with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
  • Commitment to person‑centered, trauma‑informed, and culturally sensitive care, maintaining resident dignity and privacy at all times.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting, repositioning, and extended periods of standing or walking, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends.
