Salary Range: $32.50 - $48
- The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
- Collaborates with residents, families, and inter‑disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge, applying appropriate age‑ and population‑specific standards in the assigned clinical setting.
- Provides care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Coordinates care, performs resident assessment, delivers resident education, and conducts various nursing interventions.
- May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and competence levels.
- Provides assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care, resolving care and service concerns.
- Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules.
- Applies the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses, including interpretive statements published by the American Nurses Association.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs or possesses multistate licensure under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Obtains and maintains required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
