Registered Nurse (RN) - Long-Term Care (LTC) | Days
Location: Velva, ND
Type: Travel Contract | 8 Weeks
Pay: $40.00/hr - $48.00/hr
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 12-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care within a Long-Term Care and Nursing Home environment. The RN will support resident health, safety, and well-being while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong assessment skills and a passion for serving geriatric and long-term care populations.
Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive resident assessments and ongoing clinical monitoring.
• Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed therapies.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to providers and nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Support resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Participate in care planning and resident/family education.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection prevention standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a positive and supportive care environment.
Required Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a structured care environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Long-Term Care (LTC) experience.
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.
• Geriatric nursing experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Experience with EMR documentation systems.
