Salary Range: $21.00 – $25.50 per hour
Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000 (with $5,000 paid after 60 days)
Position DetailsFull‑time Day CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant. $21+ per hour, depending on experience. Additional differential pay for schedule flexibility and $10,000 sign‑on bonus. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation. Must hold CNA license at hire time. Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits.
Job Summary- Provides resident‑centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
- Delivers age‑appropriate care addressing physical and psychological needs per care plan.
- Adheres to infection prevention and control policies and PPE use.
- Assists with basic health‑care needs: bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital‑sign recording, psychosocial support.
- Supports residents in transferring, repositioning, walking using correct techniques and equipment; performs range‑of‑motion and passive exercises.
- Prepares food and assists with dining, creating a positive dining experience.
- Feeds residents and supplies water and supplements as appropriate.
- Aids nursing staff with procedures when needed.
- Documents resident interactions, behavior, activities, and dietary data.
- Communicates changing condition and care concerns to the charge nurse.
- Collects non‑invasive body‑fluid specimens and records vital signs.
- Provides housekeeping and laundry support to maintain resident living areas.
- Assists with wellness and recreational programs and encourages participation.
- May serve on departmental or organization committees and task forces.
- High school graduate or GED preferred but not required.
- Minimum age 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long‑term care preferred.
- Must possess Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or be enrolled in a state‑certified CNA training program and obtain certification within four months.
- Completes yearly department‑specific competency testing and maintains continuing‑education credits (minimum 12 hours annually).
- Maintains all required certifications; may include UAP Registry registration where applicable.
- May be required to hold a valid driver’s license and meet motor‑vehicle requirements if driving duties arise.
- Physically capable of performing essential driving functions as required.
