Salary Range: $27.32 - $34.84 per hour, with a $3.00 premium per hour and a $6,000 bonus for eligible employees.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in assisted living, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The LPN demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles, performs testing to evaluate resident status, administers medications, provides technical support, documents resident interactions, and collaborates effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.
Job Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for residents of all ages in assisted living settings.
- Perform testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status.
- Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
- Document resident interactions, medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary outcomes.
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
- Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively in emergent situations.
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
- Maintain effective working relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and the public.
- Communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist residents, family members, and resident advocates with prevention and treatment plans under direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Develop self‑care programs based on resident education principles.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently licensed as a practical nurse in the state(s) of practice.
- Preferred experience in long‑term care, sub‑acute care, or medical/surgical settings.
