Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Lisbon, ND

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite |

Shifts:

6:30 AM–7:00 PM / 6:30 PM–7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | Every third holiday required

• Provide direct emergency nursing care to patients presenting with traumas, strokes, STEMIs, chest pain, respiratory conditions, and lacerations
• Manage and monitor common drips including Heparin and Levophed
• Independently read and interpret cardiac telemetry monitor strips
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3–4 within a 2-bed/trauma bay critical access emergency department
• Collaborate with charge nurse and care team; float to Med Surg as needed
• Adhere to self/team scheduling practices including weekend and holiday rotation requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification

• Prior experience in a critical access or rural emergency department setting
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, including autonomous telemetry interpretation
• Strong teamwork, communication, flexibility, and ability to perform under pressure
