CNA Swing
The position involves providing care in a long-term care setting. The unit typically has 25 beds. CNA patient ratios will focus on teamwork rather than specific numbers. Common patient diagnoses include dementia and pneumonia. Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required. Self-scheduling opportunities are available when possible. No clinical involvement is expected in this role. A Charge Nurse will be present on each shift.
No floating to other units will be required. Scrubs can be worn; there is no specific color requirement. Additional time off requests must be provided upfront and will not be approved after submission. The charting system in use is EPIC. This position is in a post-acute care setting.
