• Responsibilities:
  The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Includes assisting with daily living activities, obtaining and recording vital signs, assisting with meals, and maintaining infection prevention and Personal Protective Equipment use.
  
  May assist with transferring, repositioning, and mobility as needed and support with documentation of resident care and outcomes.
• Qualifications:
  
  High school graduate or GED preferred; minimum age 16. Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position; ongoing continuing education (minimum 12 hours annually); ability to meet state requirements for UAP if applicable; driver’s license may be required depending on facility.
