Plant Operations Manager FT | Salaried SMP Health – St. Aloisius is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This full-time, salaried position offers a starting salary of $70,000+, depending on experience, and is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and day-to-day operation of our hospital campus, including the hospital, clinic, nursing home, and other facilities. The Plant Operations Manager leads multiple departments and is responsible for facility maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, vendor and contractor coordination, department budgets, and facility improvement projects.

This role helps ensure our buildings, equipment, and infrastructure are safe, efficient, and well-maintained while supporting quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience along with a background in facility operations, maintenance, construction, or a related field. Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable leading projects from planning through completion, managing multiple departments and staff, coordinating contractors and vendors, and balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
