Description:
The position requires a Registered Nurse to work in both the Emergency Room and Medsurg settings.
The unit accepts a range of patients, including those needing trauma, stroke, and STEMI care.
Common diagnoses include chest pains, respiratory conditions, and various acute illnesses.
The nurse to patient ratio in the ER is 1:3-4, while in Medsurg, it is 1:5 during the day and 1:6 ses must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips independently.
Teamwork, communication, and flexibility are essential qualities for success in this role.
Nurses will be required to float between ER and Medsurg/Swing Bed as necessary.
Weekend work is required every other weekend, and holidays will be every third holiday.
