Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care facility. This role involves providing essential nursing services and ensuring the quality of care for our residents. The RN will act as the charge nurse, managing medication administration and wound care for patients.

• Night Shift: 1 Nurse to 19 Residents

• Serve as the charge nurse on the unit
• Administer medications and perform wound care

• Previous long-term care experience is essential
• BLS Certification required
• Must have experience managing patient care in a long-term care setting

• No IVs or titratable drips are present in the unit
• There are no telemetry monitors or related responsibilities for the RN
• No rehabilitation beds are available; this is strictly a long-term care unit

• Physical Therapy available as needed
• Social Worker designee is on-site
• No respiratory therapy available 24/7
• Oxygen therapy equipment includes concentrators and portable devices
• Pharmacy services are off-site

• Shift Type: 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM
• No blocked schedules or self-scheduling
• Weekend requirements:
  Every other weekend
• Holiday requirements:
  Every other major holiday

• Unit-specific orientation consists of 2-3 shifts

• Clean and presentable attire is required; no specific scrub color mandated
• Radius rule: 50 miles
• Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront with specific conditions
