Description
Part-Time (Noc Shift)
Requirements- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Maintain a valid and current North Dakota Nursing License
- Clinical nursing experience is preferred
- Direct the nursing care on the unit. Assess the resident's status continually, initiate nursing intervention, institute Resident care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Maintain communication with providers, family, and legal representatives appraised of resident's condition and notification if there are changes in conditions.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Resident's Bill of Rights.
- Demonstrate respect and understanding of confidentiality for all residents, staff, and others.
- Communicate with DON and other departments regarding opportunities for improvement and needs related to the facility, residents, and personnel of TCLC.
- Develop and review Resident care plans including obtainable goals for the resident to reach and to maintain optimal physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and mental functioning.
- Direct the care of each resident including administration of medications and treatments.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Restorative Nursing Principles and Practices to assist residents in regaining lost abilities and to maximize their strengths.
- Direct care coordination of the residents with providers and ensure the care plan is fulfilled.
- Supervise and evaluate personnel assigned to the unit; delegate staff and staff tasks and prepare work assignments while providing direction and supervision of professional and non-professional staff at TCLC.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the risk management program.
- Complete all mandatory education and compliance modules in a timely manner.
The RN or LPN has clinical nursing knowledge, physical assessment, teaching, and procedural skills. He or she is responsible for maintaining and updating individualized care plans for the needs of the residents. The RN or LPN is directly responsible for assessing, planning, providing, and documenting nursing care for the residents in accordance with the provider's plan of care and the policy and procedures of TCLC.
Hours24hrs a week and every 3rd weekend rotation.
