Nos Domaines D’intervention- Nucléaire :
Surveillance fournisseurs, évaluation des systèmes qualité, maîtrise du code RCC‑M et des spécifications EDF, suivi des fabrications soudées. - Pétrole & Gaz :
Conception, rédaction de spécifications soudage et inspection, sélection des matériaux, suivi des fabrications, assurance qualité et contrôle qualité. - Soudage et CND :
Expertise sur tous les procédés de soudage (GTAW, GMAW, SAW, SMAW…) et de contrôle (UT, RT, PT, MT…), conformité aux normes RCC‑M, EN 15614, API, AWS, ASME, DNV.
As part of ongoing supplier inspection activities, Weld World is looking for a Freelance Inspector, based in the Northeastern United States, to support inspection activities within the nuclear / energy sector, on a short‑term mission.
Mission ContextThe inspection is related to supplier testing activities for a nuclear reactor project, within a regulated nuclear supply chain.
Additional inspection assignments may follow, depending on project needs and inspector availability.
Inspection AreaNortheastern United States (New England area)
Inspector located within approx. 50–100 km of the inspection site
(Exact location to be shared with shortlisted candidates only)
The inspection is scheduled for Week 10 !
Scope of WorkHydrostatic tests, Tightness tests, Functional tests
EnvironmentMission performed within a nuclear reactor project environment, requiring rigor, traceability and compliance with nuclear quality standards.
Required ProfileFreelance Inspector located in the Northeastern US
Proven Experience With- Relevant inspection qualifications and certifications (mechanical / pressure equipment)
- Hydrostatic and functional testing
- Industrial equipment (valves, piping systems, or similar)
- Experience in supplier inspections and/or supplier audits is a strong plus
